Easter Egg Tree: Just like Mom used to make.

Except now they make fancy gold eggs.

And we used a magnolia tree. Perfect size, weird spot. Hard to get a nice shot- tried to crop out the cloudy day, the chain link fence, the trash cans, Jay's car with 2 flat tires. Note the lack of blue eggs, Theo kept all the blue ones inside to play with.

Theo gets a call on his egg phone. Note the California Science Museum sticker is still on his jacket. I finally pulled it off the other night, but stashed it somewhere in case he remembers and freaks out.

do it again

three magic words on Theo's third and latest trip to the summit for some tubing. he uttered thim after our first ride down the hill together. Big improvement from the first trip last year which ended in cold feet and crying and from the second trip earlier this winter which ended when just one ride down the hill was enough. after 2 or 3 rides down together, and with encouragement from Lillian who at just 2 requested to go by herself, he was ready to go by himself. the highlight was still hot chocolate in the lodge after a good 90 minutes on the hill. some footage:

YOGA!

This is not an April Fool's Day joke, I am actually posting to our blog. It's only taken a year. Don't worry, we did not do anything interesting over the past 11 months.

There has been a lot of yoga around here lately. Here are Theo and Emma doing a kid's yoga video. I think these two should be in some kind of hair commercial.

Another night Theo taught John the tree pose. Which somehow turned into Theo riding on John's back.
