He wanted to go outside and play in the dark, cold, rain. I insisted he wear his ski jacket which is moderately water resistant. He refused. So I negotiated a trip the Green Wood Market if he would wear his jacket outside. This didn't require much actually. I think this jacket has officially entered the rotation. Nice picture though.

theo in new clothes
And the bribe required to get him to wear the article. You be the judge of who is the superior negotiator.
This was a tough one (as his facial expression indicates). After much protest he agreed to try it out with the stipulation that I will buy him an elephant shirt in the future. Not sure when he stopped liking monkeys.

more visitors!
Whitney and Alana made a last minute trip to visit us this weekend. All went well aside from Theo being a little under the weather (can you tell in this picture?) and some confusion over Whitney's name. He's got it down now. Here we are posing for a "mom shot."
And Theo reluctantly riding the Pike Place Market Pig. He was seconds from breaking down in this shot:

The Blue Fleece
Scroll down a bit. Notice anything? Like a whole lot of that blue fleece jacket? Theo will not wear anything else, and will not take it off anywhere we go, until we are back at home. He will only wear a sweater if we assure him it will be covered immediately by The Blue Fleece. Those tubing shots? The Blue Fleece is under there. Expect to see more of it, as he's still got plenty of room to grow in there. I am sure we'll see it all summer long, with his swimming suit at the wading pool.

Theo tubing
And clearly having the time of his life:
We got one run in before a foot/boot problem put an end to it. He didn't hate the ride but wasn't thrilled about it either. He much preferred looking at the tractors, snow plows, and buses in the parking lot and was definitely more at home with a PB & J in a high chair at the Issaqua Brew House. Great outing though and he says he wants to do it again so we will try again.
